Today is your day to either catch up on missed sessions or rest ahead of the assault on the CFG Open workout 15.2 tomorrow.

On the timetable we have a PAYG session at 1730. This is a slot for non-members to get in. Spread the word!

There is also workshop focusing on kipping pull-ups at 1830. A couple of places are still available.

Today we'll make our newest coaching addition known to the greater world. SCCF members will already have met Natalie and experienced her energy and passion. We are fantastically pleased to have her on board.

Here's a brief bio from Natalie (in her own words)...


Natalie Maxime Möhr - from Cape Town South Africa. 

Started my sports career as a track athlete running 200m and 400m on provincial and national level. 

Then moved over to Powerlifting, where I represented SA at two consecutive world championships. 

Started Crossfit in Nov 2012 and havent looked back since :) started it as it was fun and community driven and after 2months I knew i wanted to be competitive.

I went to regionals two years in a row, first for team, then individual. 


My fave Crossfit workout: any heavy push presses or jerks, double unders or heavy barbell movement. 

Fav movement: power clean and turkish get ups 

First workout: 2r for time:

  • 12 DB thrusters
  • 12 burpees
  • 12 DB push press
  • 12 burpees
  • 12 DB front squats 
  • 12 burpees
  • 12 DB cleans 
  • 12 burpees. 

I literally almost died! 

Cheat food of choice: anything sweet! I have a crazy sweet tooth :)
